The KARL GERAT set recreates the German super-heavy self-propelled siege mortar from World War II. With nearly 4700 pieces, this impressive model features the massive 60 cm caliber mortar and tracked chassis in authentic detail.
Historischer Hintergrund
Karl-Gerät was a German self-propelled siege mortar. Seven were built between 1940–1942. They were used in the siege of Sevastopol, Warsaw Uprising, and on the Western Front. The 60 cm shells could penetrate up to 2.5 m of reinforced concrete.
