The 12GO Panther II is a highly detailed brick-built model inspired by one of the most ambitious German tank projects of the late stages of World War II. Built from 1,678+ pieces in 1:28 scale, this model combines the distinctive appearance of the Panther family with a wide range of movable and interchangeable elements.

The design features a carefully recreated sloped-armour hull, detailed running gear, realistic tracks, engine-deck equipment, and a large turret with a long main gun. The camouflage pattern combines dark green, tan, and reddish-brown sections to create an authentic late-war appearance.

A strong focus has been placed on functionality. The model features multiple opening sections, allowing builders to access different parts of the vehicle and explore its construction. The turret can rotate smoothly, while the main gun can be adjusted vertically. The model also includes a detailed interior around the gun breech and fighting compartment.

Historical Background

The Panther II was a proposed German development intended to improve and simplify the Panther medium tank while increasing its protection and standardizing certain components with other German armored vehicles.

The Panther II concept called for a more heavily protected hull and the use of standardized components, particularly in the areas of armour and running gear.
