About USS Missouri set
USS Missouri packs 2,568 compatible bricks into the Iowa-class legend at 1:300 scale—last US battleship, site of Japan’s surrender, and Gulf War comeback story for ages 14+. Clean deck lines and superstructure tiers suit photographers seeking iconic silhouettes. Eco-friendly ABS balances length with display stability. No US naval collection feels complete without ‘Mighty Mo’ beside North Carolina or carrier escorts.
Historical background
BB-63 hosted the Japanese surrender on 2 September 1945 in Tokyo Bay, then served Korea and was reactivated for 1991 Gulf War shore bombardment. Decommissioned in 1992, she rests as a museum at Pearl Harbor facing Arizona—past and present of US sea power. Brick Missouri kits let collectors hold that arc: WWII victory ceremony to late-Cold War gunfire support.
