Historische achtergrond
Bismarck was a German battleship, the lead ship of her class. Commissioned in 1940, she and her sister Tirpitz were the largest battleships ever built in Europe. Bismarck famously sank HMS Hood in May 1941 before being sunk by the Royal Navy.
